RISEF Since 1995, the Rhode Island Science & Engineering Fair has served as a premier primary education student research showcase. With participation of approximately 500 students from 90 schools across the state, RISEF’s goal is to promote science education and investigation by RI students. With the help of great sponsors such as Base 8 Group, Bishop Hendricken High School, Raytheon, U.S. Armed Forces and more, RISEF will continue to promote the importance of science education and showcase the unique talents of Rhode Island’s brightest students. December 16, 2009 - Registration Fees are due; $7.00 per junior student and $10.00 per senior student. $50 late fee for schools registering after this date. February 12, 2010 - Complete student packets are due. This deadline for paperwork submission was changed to Friday at 5pm. A representative will be at CCRI on Friday 2/12/2010 from 3pm-5pm to accept paperwork. We will not be there on Wednesday or Thursday. THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE! March 27 - 28, 2010 – RISEF at CCRI in Warwick March 31, 2010 7:00 PM - RISEF Awards ceremony at CCRI in Warwick. All students are encouraged to attend. May 9-15, 2010 – 60th. ISEF in San Jose, CA YOU BE THE JUDGE! RISEF would not be possible if it weren't for all of the people who gladly donate their time and skills to help in our judging process.
